C. Croatia. Ante Zizic . 15. player. 73. The Denver Nuggets don’t necessarily need another big man with Nikola Jokic, Jusuf Nurkic and Kenneth Faried holding down the front court, but they shored up their bench scoring with Buddy Hield at No. 7 and now are looking at making another international splash with Zizic. The 19-year old, 6-11 center has massive potential and reportedly has no interest in staying overseas, meaning he thinks he’s ready for The Association now. If nothing else, you have to appreciate the confidence he possesses.

Zizic is full of energy on the court and that intangible usually transfers to his teammates as well, making it even more valuable. He’s shown the ability to move well laterally, meaning he could be successful at guarding smaller players on the perimeter; in short spurts of course. His footwork is already solid at age 19, so working with other quality big men that the Nuggets already have will only increase his skill set.

Zizic doesn’t want to be a draft-and-stash, so teams can bank on him being on their roster immediately, so they can start to mold him into the player they need him to be. Working under Jokic and Nurkic will be helpful for the international stud and while it may seem like a bit of a reach now, he projects as a starter down the road.
