The Bulls continue to be one of the worst front offices in basketball.

It’s one thing to be so into yourself that you run off the best coach you’ve had since Phil Jackson to replace him with a puppet who forces a rebuild, but it’s another thing to go full North Korea on things.

If Gar Forman and John Paxson has their way, the only Bulls reports would come from some weird government run network that mostly features footage of the duo riding around in fields on horses.

Even though every top writer in the NBA was reporting that the Bulls were at the very least discussing the idea of trading Jimmy Butler for Kris Dunn, the dovishly Machiavellian front office in Chicago want you to pay no attention to the rumors behind the curtain.

The Bulls are comical at times as a franchise, but this takes the cake. There is absolutely no way that stud scoopers like Adrian Wojnarowski and Marc Stein would both be completely wrong about this.

Here’s what happened: the Bulls tried and failed miserably to trade a guy they want to build their future around. They wanted Kris Dunn to replace Derrick Rose but wouldn’t agree to do business with a guy they hate.

The Bulls have demonstrated in the past that their front office is an utter joke — and this won’t be the last time they go full Trump and try to re-write history to make themselves look perfect.
