High Value OF

Melvin Upton Jr.-San Diego Padres (3,100): Upton has been heating up lately and is 13-32 over his last eight games including a homer, three stolen bases, and eight runs scored.  Like his teammates Matt Kemp and Yangervis Solarte, Upton hits lefties well, and I think he’l put-up good numbers again tonight against Reds’ lefty Cody Reed.

Max Kepler-Minnesota Twins (3,000): Kepler comes into tonight’s game against Masahiro Tanaka and the Yankees with a nine-game hitting streak. He is 9-22 (.409) over the last week with three doubles, a homer, and six RBI along with a pair of stolen bases.  He usually starts against righties, so look for him to try and extend his hitting streak tonight against Tanaka.∗∗

Melky Cabrera-Chicago White Sox (2,800): Cabrera will face his former team as the Blue Jays come to Chicago this weekend.  He will be in a tough matchup against Aron Sachez tonight, but is 8-26 (.308) over the last week with two doubles, a triple, and two home runs. He’s heating up and is now sporting a nice .909 OPS for the month.∗∗∗

Peter Bourjos-Philadelphia Phillies (2,600): Bourjos went 5-12 in the Phillies series in Minnesota and is 13-37 (.351) this month with two doubles, a triple and a home run.  He could get another chance tonight against Jake Peavy and the Giants in San Francisco, and if he’s in the starting lineup he’s a nice cheap flier.

Travis Jankowski-San Diego Padres (2,500): Jakowski came through for my FanDuel daily picks on Wednesday going 2-4 with two stolen bases for 27.4 fantasy points, and then he followed it up last night with another two hits and stolen base for 15.5 fantasy points. He could end up on the bench tonight since the Pads face a lefty, but give his recent success hitting leadoff, I think he can be in your lineup if San Diego gives him another start.  If starting-∗∗∗
