In a draft that was filled with plenty of unknown quantities, the 2016 NBA Draft was one that as wild as they come. Plenty of surprise picks, trades and rumors floating around made the draft one of the most exciting ones yet.

While there were plenty of expected picks that went down, there were also some surprises. Some of those surprises came across as great picks, while others left people scratching their heads and wondering exactly that team was thinking.

Whether it was a team that had a chance to take a top player on the board and dangle him to other teams for a superstar or a team that traded down and took a player that no one had heard at a position that wasn’t of need, there were plenty of picks that seemed on the track to potentially being a bust.
