5.Confidence

We all laugh at the old “gritty player” compliments, but nobody can watch Luck and not think that he has some toughness qualities that most do not. The two biggest knocks against Luck would have to be his turnovers and his sacks. While those are certainly problems, they also are two things that point to what defines Luck.

His confidence is not only in himself but his teammates. It shows in his ability to take deep drops against any defense when most know his offensive line is a clear work in progress. He has the confidence that they will buy him the time, and his size and arm will be able to pull out a play that may not have been there a second earlier. With that will come sacks and interceptions.

Still, you are talking about a player with four years of NFL experience and on a team that is only growing with him. Having a confident leader who will try to squeeze that pass in there because he knows you can make that catch means something to players. As they grow to trust him, the team begins working as one. How would you not to want to tie that into the future of your franchise for as long as possible?
