Third Baseman

High-Salary Option: Manny Machado-Baltimore Orioles (4,100):  Machado has multiple hits in seven of his last eight games dating back to before his suspension.  Since returning he is 13-27 (.481) with two doubles and a homer. Machado will look to keep his roll going tonight against Taijuan Walker, but he is just 1-8 against him in their previous meetings. ∗∗

Mid-range Option: Evan Longoria-Tampa Bay Rays (3,400): Longoria has had a strong month for Tampa going 30-98 (.306) with nine homers and 18 RBI this month.  He enters tonight’s game against Jordan Zimmermann and the Tigers with a four-game hitting streak and should again be right in the middle of the Tampa attack.∗∗

Mid-Range Option: Jose Ramirez-Cleveland Indians (3,000): Ramirez has hit safely in four straight as well and in seven of his last eight.  He had a big game on Tuesday going 2-4 with two RBI and two stolen bases on his way to 28 fantasy points. Ramirez has his average up to .292 on the season with a lucky .777 OPS.  He has done most of his damage at home, but he should be able to produce tonight on the road in Toronto as the Tribe looks to keep their win streak rolling.∗∗∗

High-Value Option: Cheslor Cuthbert-Kansas City Royals (2,400): Cuthbert has gone a solid 26-91 (.286) this month while helping cover the hot corner for Kansas City after the injury to Mike Moustakas. Cuthbert has hit safely in eight of his last nine games while adding two doubles and three homers during that span. If the weather allows the Royals and Cardinals to finish their four-game home-and-home set tonight, Cuthbert will be a nice value play to allow you to spend money elsewhere.∗∗
