1. Kevin Durant

There is not a more perfect fit in free agency for the Golden State Warriors then Kevin Durant.

Truth be told, Durant is the perfect fit for every team in the league and that’s why he is going to have a sit-down conversation with multiple teams. However, if Durant is really going to make the leap and leave the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Warriors have to be the favorite to land him.

They can make the money work and make the moves to pay Durant what he wants in free agency. They also have a team that just won 73 games and is the favorite next year to win the NBA Championship.

The defending Western Conference Champions have a lot going for them, including two-time MVP Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. Simply put, with Durant, the Warriors would become an unstoppable force unlike anything professional sports has ever seen.

If they stay healthy, there is just no beating the Warriors on the floor. Durant is already one of the toughest players in the league to guard because of his height and that would make the Warriors’ shooting even more deadly.

This would make the Warriors one of the most anticipated teams to watch in the history of the league.
