Golden State Warriors

Golden State is just coming off the greatest regular season in NBA history. They were within one game of repeating as champions, but came up just short of the mark due to LeBron James going supernova and potentially some knee issues for Steph Curry. They’ve been destroying the NBA for two straight years now, and they came back from 3-1 deficit to beat Durant himself in the playoffs. They don’t respect anybody, and they’re not nice. That’s just what Durant wants in a team. Someone that just goes out there and ruins the day of whoever they’re facing. Except now, after losing in the Finals, they’re working with a little extra anger.

The Warriors have never been motivated by failure before, and that could unleash a beast so vicious that not even an NBA team put together of every great player to play the game could slow them down. Add Durant to that mix? Well, nobody has ever won 80 games before right? This one might be the first. They play a style that he’ll slide into perfectly well. Steve Kerr is one of the ultimate personality managers in the league and will find a place for Durant on that roster. Draymond Green will have his back every night, and Steph Curry will be the perfect partner to dance with. Durant coming to Golden State isn’t about needing each other. It’s about wanting to put the entire NBA beneath their feet and and crushing them all.
