Houston Rockets

After last year, the Houston Rocket are in major need of a refreshing reset. Durant is just the type of player they need for a cleansing operation like that. Houston is one year removed from the Western Conference Finals, and with Dwight Howard leaving they’re in need of another superstar to put next to James Harden so they can get back there as soon as possible. Durant would make the transition back to contender status seamless. He’ll get to play with Harden again just like his OKC days, and this time they’ll be coached by Mike Dantoni. With his offensive system Durant and Harden might be able to average 50 points each, in the first half, of each quarter.

Keep in mind that Texas has no state income tax, Houston has a pretty great nightlife, and the weather is nice and warm, and it’s hard to see why every free agent isn’t knocking down the door to get to Houston. This is a team that should have been good last year, but it turned out the entire roster hated each other to the point where they were only able to be a .500 basketball team. Yet they still somehow stole a game from the 73-9 Warriors. This is a talented group they just need the right leaders in charge. Durant can be that leader.
