When players come to Miami, they see that respect and it makes them want to work just as hard as everybody in that organization does. There’s a loyalty that everybody understands, and even the lowest member on the totem pole can move up to great things someday. This is the kind of place where everybody wants to work.

It’s even better when that ideal workplace happens to be right on South Beach and has a fantastic night life. LeBron went here. Shaq went here. Wade is still here. They’ve all been champions. Coming to Miami isn’t about legacy, it’s about winning championships and doing it in a place where you can spend the off days on the beach with a cold beer in your hand. If Durant goes to Miami he can be sure that he’ll have an all time great in Dwyane Wade next to him, and a guarantee that Riley will put the best possible talent he can around him. When it comes to winning there are few organizations that know how to do it better than the Heat.
