Orlando Magic

Orlando low-key is a favorite free agent destination for many players in the past. Horace Grant, Tracy McGrady, and Grant Hill all chose Orlando at some point. Players love to retire here, and what better way to retire into a great community with a few rings on your fingers? It’s not hard to be a star in Orlando. Penny, Shaq, and Dwight all did it before and Durant can do it too. Their color scheme has produced some of the best jerseys the NBA has ever seen. When the team is good the fans pack the arena and keep it loud in there. There won’t be too much of a culture change, because Rob Hennigan has built an organization that has tried to emulate the Thunder at every turn.

The Magic traded for Serge Ibaka. Orlando is ready to start winning again, but they need a superstar like Durant to kick everything off. Frank Vogel will build an amazing defense around Ibaka, Aaron Gordon, and Elfrid Payton which will allow Durant to come in and just put points up. If he wins in Orlando he’ll be beloved by the fans for the rest of his life, parades on parades on parades. Lifetime access to theme parks, the beach is less than an hour away, and the space station is right there. Maybe Durant wants to be an astronaut after he’s done playing? Call up Elon Musk he’ll make it happen.
