4. Seth Curry

Now here’s a real off-the-wall signing the Lakers should make. There guard situation is up in the air and they could end up moving one of their young guards. Still, they should look to take a low-risk approach and bring in Seth Curry, who wouldn’t take away playing time from the other players.

The younger brother of Stephen Curry has shown flashes early on in his career and he could be instant off the bench for a team like the Lakers. At the end of the year, Curry was putting big minutes together for the Sacramento Kings and really starting to find his footing in this league.

He’s more than just a shooter on the floor. He can also run the floor and set up his team for great looks. If this really is all about a youth movement in free agency, why not add another young talent to the roster?

Wins aren’t necessarily the goal yet unless they’re adding top-tier talent. If they’re about development, then the more youth the better. Let them grow together and if that means more high picks than so be it, because they should be set up to win a long time.

Curry in Los Angeles would have a nice ring to it.
