1. Minnesota Timberwolves

The perfect destination for Joakim Noah as he enters free agency this summer is the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Minnesota.

The first, and most obvious reason is a reunion with head coach Tom Thibodeau. Under Thibodeau, Noah prospered, developing into an MVP candidate and one of the best defenders in the entire league just a couple of seasons ago. Their five years together in Chicago proved to be mutually beneficial as Thibodeau was honored with the NBA Coach of the Year award in 2011.

While many counter with the argument that Thibs ran many of his players into the ground, specifically Noah, by regularly playing them extended minutes during a grueling 82-game season, the production and results were undeniable. And hopefully for both Thibs and his young players in Minnesota, he has learned a lesson after receiving a pink slip from the Bulls a year ago.

Speaking of the young players in Minnesota, the Timberwolves are a team on the rise and they are ascending rapidly. With young stars such as Andrew Wiggins, Karl Anthony-Towns, and Zack LaVine barely scratching the surface of their massive potential, Minnesota has the makings of a dynasty.

Lastly, how fun would a team with Joakim Noah, Kevin Garnett, and Nikola Pekovic be? Opponents better lace ’em up extra tight when the T-Wolves are on the schedule.
