C. Indiana Pacers. Al Jefferson. 4. player. 100.

At this stage of his career, Al Jefferson is probably best suited to come off the bench, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.

This past season, Jefferson only appeared in 47 games due to an early season suspension and multiple injuries. Despite his absence, Charlotte managed to have one of their best seasons in recent memory, as they reached the playoffs.

With Charlotte heading in an entirely different direction, it was ideal for both parties to go their separate ways.

In limited action, Jefferson still managed to average 12 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

As the big man game continues to evolve, there’s still a market for a guy like Jefferson, who can you dump the ball down to and expect for him to give you a bucket.

Jefferson is going to Indiana on a three-year, $30 million deal, which looks like an absolute steal if he can remain healthy.

Another needed that Jefferson will bring is leadership.

The Pacers locker room was lacking that veteran leadership in the locker room last year. Yes, Paul George has been in the league long enough now, but he’s still learning how to become a winner.

Someone like Jefferson who has been around the league a little longer will provide more wisdom for the young guys.

For the years and overall number, I absolutely love this move. It’s low-risk with a potential very high reward on the backend.
