Paul Bissonnette live tweeted his free agency experience

Lovable NHL veteran Paul Bissonnette failed to get signed by a team, and he live tweeted about it.
Paul Bissonnette is one of the best characters in the NHL today. On the ice, heās a grinder by trade, and makes his living fighting other people. But off the ice, heās one of the nicest guys there is, and his personality is brought to life by his outstanding Twitter account, BizNasty2point0.
Bissonnette started his professional playing career with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, which he makes a point ofĀ in his Twitter bio, and only ever played full-time with the Pittsburgh Penguins and Phoenix Coyotes in the NHL. He spent five years at the latter team, and put up a career high of eight points while there.
Heās not a good hockey player, and NHL teams are starting to faze out guys like him. HeĀ plied his trade in the AHL last season, but his contract expired making him an open free agent.
SinceĀ teams were busy throwing money at Milan Lucic and David Backes, BissonnetteĀ knew he wasnāt going to get signed, but made light of the situation with some incredible live tweets.

But near the end of the day, Bissonnette thought he heard a legitimate offer, and while he was joking earlier, he sounded genuinely excited about it.
But as it turned out, someone prank called him as the Nashville Predators GM:
The real winners of free agency were Paul Bissonnette and his followers. While he already had a great following, this hilarious adventure is sure to get him some more.
And while he may be upset that he hasnāt been signed to an NHL team, the Las Vegas team will officially play in the 2017-18 season, and heāll be a perfect fit there. He might even end up be the captain.
