1. Boston Celtics

Speaking of future draft picks and assets, no team in the NBA has as many of those as the Boston Celtics do. Plus, they have the direct motivation to go out and trade for Russell Westbrook now that they have added Al Horford in free agency.

Isaiah Thomas could be a part of the trade if Westbrook agrees to an extension. If he isn’t, the Thunder would likely have to accept a package that revolves around Avery Bradley and at least one future first round pick.

Bradley had 15.2 points per game during the 2015-16 season. He would give the Thunder a very solid point guard to replace Westbrook. Jaylen Brown, a first round pick of the Celtics in the 2016 NBA Draft, would likely have to be involved as well. Brown is a promising power forward who is an extremely raw and talented player.

With a first round pick, the package of Brown and Bradley gives the Thunder a young duo of players to potentially build around. The 2015-16 season could basically be an audition for Russell Westbrook and the Celtics. A team led by Thomas, Westbrook, and Horford would likely at least challenge the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference. But it could blow up in their face if it doesn’t work out.
