4. Los Angeles Clippers

This almost feels obligatory at this point considering just the breadth of talent involved, but you have to consider the Los Angeles Clippers one of the teams that could potentially come into the 2016-17 season and have a chance at shocking the super-team that the Warriors have assembled. They have weapons of their own that could strike and simply could come out and simply have the series of their lives while negating many of the things that the Warriors do.

Obviously the Clippers are one of the only teams that boast the frontcourt athleticism to run and keep the pace with the way that the Warriors have liked to play and the way that they’ll have even more reason to play now that they’ve added Kevin Durant. But what’s more is that they have a bit of a frontcourt advantage in that regard with how they can athletically outmatch the likes of Zaza and Draymond in the frontcourt with DeAndre Jordan and Blake Griffin.

Perhaps the most overlooked part of this matchup, though, is the fact that Chris Paul is still one of the best defensive point guards in the NBA when he’s engaged and locked in. Moreover, he’s the type of physical point guard that can get into the body of Stephen Curry when playing the Warriors and thus get into the head of the reigning two-time MVP. That, more than anything else even, means that the Clippers could have a shot against Golden State.
