The biggest fighting game tournament of the year, Evo 2016, will have four official streams plus one reserved just for Street Fighter V.

It’s a great week to get into competitive fighting games. Evolution Championship Series, aka Evo 2016, is kicking off this week from July 15 to July 17 with official (and unofficial) tournaments for more than nine different games, both live and in active development for consoles. Shoryuken, hosts of the tournament, has finally submitted the stream schedule for Evo 2016, highlighting when (and where) you can check out the action.

Evo 2016 action begins at 8 AM PDT on Friday, July 15. Stream 1 will offer the most variety, with Street Fighter and Melee pools before semis for Tekken 7 and Pokken Tournament throughout the week. All Top 8 Finals matches will also be held on that stream.

Pools, quarterfinals, and semifinals play for a variety of games will be littered throughout Evo 2016 on Friday and Saturday through Stream 2, Stream 3 and Stream 4. Finally, Capcom’s own CapcomFighters Twitch channel will be hosting Street Fighter V Evo 2016 pool play all Friday and Saturday, as well as the entire run up to the results of the semifinals.

Something of note is that Evo 2016 will mark the first time in several years that the first day of tournament play will not be host to a game’s Top 8 Finals. That means that Friday and Saturday is heavily focused on spreading pool play deciding Top 8’s.

For example, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator will have its pools, quarterfinals and semifinals all decided on Day 1, yet will have its finals represented at the Mandalay Bay Arena on Sunday. Meanwhile, Pokken Tournament will spend many hours breaking down pools on Friday, with the rest of its play going down on Saturday. Smash for Wii U will have its finals on Saturday, yet Melee will be on Sunday.

Evo 2016 will also mark the first time source-quality broadcasts will be free without a subscription. However, $12 subscriptions will bring emotes that last forever, adding value to the purchase going to the FGC scholarship fund.
