1.Carlos Gonzalez to Red Sox

Had to end it with the block buster. The Red Sox are a team known to go for it, and adding Carlos Gonzalez would make a great offense one that can beat the likes of the Blue Jays and Orioles.

The Red Sox only hole on offense is left field. They can try to find a starting pitcher, but if Julio Teheran is off the market, there may not be much worth it. As mentioned, competitors such as the Orioles and Rangers already have worse pitching and will be creating a bidding war with teams like the Cardinals, Dodgers, Blue Jays and more.

On the offensive side of the ball there is no bigger fish than Gonzalez. They can stick him left field and hope that he does not get too confused with the green monster. Either way with Jackie Bradley and Mookie Betts, the defense should be fine. Instead of potentially overpaying on a depth pitcher, why not make life tougher and go all in on this team by out hitting every body.

If the Rockies can get a top twenty prospect and one or two other guys they might as well make the move. Gonzalez only has one more year on his deal, so this will more than likely be the best that they can get. The Red Sox should be able to entice them enough and it may be a move that works out for both sides.
