Odell Beckham Jr. is very popular in the United States, and it seems his popularity is just as high across the pond.
Odell Beckham Jr. is having himself quite a trip to Germany, as his popularity seems to be huge in the country. After playing some soccer with Bayern Munich, Beckham Jr. has also made his rounds through the countryside, and he appears to have plenty of fans.
As he was walking through a crowd, fans started to chant “OBJ! OBJ!” Instead of heading right to his car, the star wide receiver decided to get on top of his car, playing to the crowd and loving every minute of it.

Beckham Jr. is in Germany as part of a goodwill trip by the National Football League. The Giants are scheduled to play the Los Angeles Rams in London this October, but maybe the NFL should look at sending Beckham Jr. and his New York Giants to Germany for the first-ever regular season game played there.
What is clear is that Beckham Jr. is a huge star, and his talent transcends sports. American Football may never be as big in Europe as fútbol is, but it is personalities like Beckham Jr. that can really bring the sport across the pond. Last season, OBJ caught 96 passes for 1450 yards, scoring 13 touchdowns.
The Giants will open their 2016 regular season schedule on the road, as they take on division rival Dallas Cowboys on September 11. This will be the team’s first season under Ben McAdoo, who took over for two-time Super Bowl winning coach Tom Coughlin after a 6-10 season last year.
