Here are the five best spots for Chris Archer should the Tampa Bay Rays decide to part ways with their best starting pitcher.

With the trade deadline in Major League Baseball just over two and a half weeks away, franchises will be making moves left and right over the next few days trying to either make their team better for a playoff run or already start to look out for the 2017 season.

In the case of the Tampa Bay Rays, the second statement will refer to them, as the team is pretty much out of the race for an AL East title or even a Wild Card berth. Being that the team will pretty much be sellers, everyone could be put on the block – including their best starting pitcher, Chris Archer.

With plenty of other teams in baseball looking for a quality starter to make a late run at either keeping their postseason position or making it into the playoffs, Archer is going to be in high demand and the Rays could be offered a ransom for his services that might be too much to pass up. With that, here are the five best teams for Chris Archer should he be traded.
