With a one-stroke lead on the 15th green at the Open Championship, Henrik Stenson stared down a 51-foot putt for birdie and a two-shot lead in the final round of the tournament. He made it.

Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson have played video game-like golf at Royal Troon during the final round of the 2016 Open Championship. It’s been one of the best one-on-one duels in major championship history history and it just got even better.

Mickelson had a nice approach shot to the 15th green while Stenson was just off the right side of the green, but had a 51-foot putt left for birdie and a two-shot lead with three holes to play.

Stenson was away, so he approached and struck his putt first.

Not only did Stenson nail the putt for the two-shot lead, he walked the putt down and gave a celebratory fist pump after it dropped in the cup for birdie.

It’s not Tiger Woods during the 2000 PGA Championship when he pointed and walked his putt that led to him winning another major that season, but the amount of swagger and excitement here from Stenson was just as enjoyable.

Stenson has 17 wins across a couple different tours in his professional career, but hasn’t won a major tournament yet. His best finish was second at the 2013 Open Championship; the last win in Phil Mickelson’s career at this point.

He’s just a few holes away from winning his first Claret Jug and the first major of his career in what has been an amazing day during the final round of the Open Championship.
