4. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers have been a revolving door at outfield and they have to be sick of it. They have had seven players make 30 or more starts in their outfield and have relied heavily on second baseman Howie Kendrick to play the outfield. That has resulted in a poor offensive year from Kendrick, as his .272 average to date is well below his .290 career mark.

Trayce Thompson and Kiki Hernandez are still on the disabled list, and Joc Pederson just came back from being hurt. Adding Gardner would essentially give them their only stable outfielder.

They could potentially get healthy and be able to move Kendrick back to a second base platoon with Chase Utley but that will be tough to deal with. It will give the Dodgers a leadoff hitter that they do not really have yet, and it will give them depth they are desperate for at the moment.

The Dodgers are not a team that is afraid to go out of their way to get the players they need. Gardner is not on an expensive tag and would be an easy price to swallow for the team in the name of winning now. The Dodgers can either hope for luck to get them into the pennant race or they can make something happen and add a guy like Gardner.
