High Salary OF

Mike Trout-Los Angeles Angels (4,000): Trout went 0-6 in his first two games after the break, but he has been tearing it up since going 4-9 with six runs scored, two doubles, a homer, a pair of walks, and a stolen base.  He raised his OPS to .993.  Trout has a 1.044 OPS at home this year, and he should continue to be productive against lefty Martin Perez and the Rangers tonight in LA in the late game.

Stephen Piscotty-St. Louis Cardinals (3,800): Piscotty bounced back from an 0-4 Sunday with a 3-5 night on Monday in the Cards’ most recent game.  He connected on his third home run in his last eight games and has reached 20+ fantasy points in five of those eight contests.  Piscotty has multiple hits in four of his last six contests and has raised his average to .299 on the year with a 18-47 (.317) start to the month.  If he gets the start in Game 2 against Paul Clemens, he’ll be a good play at under 4K.

Giancarlo Stanton-Miami Marlins (3,600): Stanton has started the Marlins’ series in Philadelphia 1-8 with a walk, but he is still 16-53 (.302) in July with five homers and 12 RBI. He has struggled all season against the Phillies going just 2-26 (.077) and is only 1-10 (.100) against tonight’s starter Jeremy Hellickson in his career.  Stanton is high-risk, but you have to love the power potential from him at just 3,600.

Brett Gardner-New York Yankees (3,500): Gardner has hit in four straight and has at least nine fantasy points in five of his last nine games.  He posted a pair of 1-4’s in the Yankees first two wins against the Orioles, and is currently hitting leadoff for New York in front of Jacoby Ellsbury.  Gardner has been solid enough lately to give him a look on a night when the Yankees should be able to pile up runs against Yovani Gallardo and the Orioles.

Christian Yelich-Miami Marlins (3,400): While Stanton and even Marcell Ozuna have been getting some fantasy attention, it’s actually be Christian Yelich that has been the Marlins’ best hitting OF lately.  Yelich is 21-60 (.350) in July with a pair of homers and 13 RBI. He has a six-game hitting streak coming into tonight’s start where he’ll face Jeremy Hellickson who he is 5-11 against in his career with a double and an RBI.
