WWE Battleground 2016: Bayley debuts as Sasha Banks’ partner (Video)

Bayley made here long-awaited debut on the main roster at WWE Battleground as she was the mystery tag team partner

One of the most anticipated main roster debuts in quite some time hasn’t been just Finn Balor, but has actually been out of the NXT Women’s division in the form of former champion Bayley. Bayley has been just insanely over with the NXT crowd down at Full Sail and has just appeared like an absolute money babyface once she made it to the main roster.

Which is why it was all too perplexing when Bayley wasn’t among the six NXT superstars that were selected in the WWE Draft. That left many people speculating as to just what WWE was planning to do with Bayley going forward.

As it turns out, they were just waiting less than a week to debut her at the WWE Battleground pay-per-view.

Sasha Banks was booked into a tag team match against Charlotte and Dana Brooke at WWE Battleground with a partner of her choosing going to battle with here. Answering a couple weeks of speculation and assumption, it was indeed Bayley that answered the call and joined forces with Sasha:

This was a fantastic moment and you can already tell that Bayley is 100 percent money for this company. Now the question of course is which brand she will be a part of and what’s next for her. If you ask me, though, it makes too much sense to have her to be the next challenger for the Women’s Champion after SummerSlam. She’s just that good.
