DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy baseball lineup-July 28
High Salary OF
Mookie Betts-Boston Red Sox (5,500): Betts has at least 10 fantasy points in five of his last six games and is 31-82 (.378) in July with four homers, ten doubles, and 11 RBI. He has gone 1-3 with a double in his career against Angels starter Jered Weaver, but his home OPS (.940) is much better than his OPS on the road (.789) which does raise the risk in spending this much on him tonight. ∗∗
Jackie Bradley Jr.-Boston Red Sox (5,100): JBJ was went 0-4 in yesterday’s loss but had been rolling before that with multiple hits in five of his previous seven games. He’s hitting .302 on the year with a very impressive .930 OPS. He has fared even better against righties (.972 OPS) and in night games (1.032 OPS), so I think he has a lot of upside in his first career start against Jered Weaver tonight.∗∗∗
Mike Trout-Los Angeles Angels (5,000): The only reason Trout is a little risky tonight is that he has only gone 3-16 (.188) against David Price in the past. However, he has been able to put hp at least 12 fantasy points in seven of his last ten games, and Price has been far from his usual self lately. Trout definitely enjoys hitting at home where he has a 1.040 OPS and is a strong play tonight despite an iffy matchup. ∗∗∗∗
Adam Jones- Baltimore Orioles (4,500): Jones has hit safely in nine of his last ten games and is hitting .350 (7-20) over the last week. He is only 1-11 (.091) against tonight’s Twins starter Kyle Gibson, but if he hits leadoff he can always put together a big game when the Orioles score a lot of runs.∗∗
Giancarlo Stanton-Miami Marlins (4,200): Stanton went 2-5 with a homer last night and has multiple hits in three of his last five games. He is 10-24 over the past week with a pair of homers and seven RBI and has gone 26-81 (.321) this month to raise his average to a decent .245 on the season. He takes on Michael Wacha of the Cardinals tonight who he has gone 1-2 with a double against in the past, so I love his upside at such an affordable price at home where his OPS is .860 on the season. ∗∗∗∗∗
