High Value OF

Jackie Bradley Jr.-Boston Red Sox (3,200): JBJ was went 0-4 in yesterday’s loss but had been rolling before that with multiple hits in five of his previous seven games.  He’s hitting .302 on the year with a very impressive .930 OPS.  He has fared even better against righties (.972 OPS) and in night games (1.032 OPS), so I think he makes a great play tonight against Jered Weaver.∗∗∗

Max Kepler-Minnesota Twins (3,200): Kepler got his first game off since the All Star break yesterday after going 0-4 on Tuesday.  He should be back in the lineup tonight against Ubaldo Jimenez, though, so he is a play that makes sense since he had a five-game hitting streak coming into this week.  He’s a little speculative since he hasn’t faced Jimenez before, but he has a solid .800 OPS on the season coming into tonight’s game.

Melky Cabrera-Chicago Whits Sox (3,000): Cabrera disappointed me and his other owners last night going 0-3 with a walk against the Cubs as the White Sox fell 8-1.  He is still  hitting .320 (24-75) this month and will look to get back on track tonight against John Lackey.  Cabrera is 11-36 (.306) in his career against Lackey with two doubles and a home run, so I like him to be a nice play at 3K tonight.∗∗∗∗

Denard Span-San Francisco Giants (2,800): Span didn’t start yesterday against the Reds going 0-1 as a pinch hitter.  He had six games with multiple hits in his nine previous contests before getting yesterday off, and he’ll look to get back in the groove against his former team the Nationals tonight.  Span doesn’t have a super-high ceiling since he doesn’t hit for much power, but he almost always producing something making him relatively low-risk as well.∗∗∗

Eddie Rosario-Minnesota Twins (2,400): Rosario is much more risky than Span, but he is an interesting “swing-for-the-fences” play against the Orioles tonight.  Rosario has at least 15 fantasy points in five of his last ten games and is 23-66 (.348) so far this month with two homers and eight RBI.  He is part of a crowded outfield rotation in Minnesota, but if he gets the start tonight against Ubaldo Jimenez, I think he’ll be a play with a lot of upside.
