Gisele has been a stalwart in the industry for seemingly forever at this point, but the real story as of late hasn’t been about her husband’s four-game suspension but has been about her retirement from modeling. As it turns out, her last walk down the runway came on Friday night in Rio at the Olympics Opening Ceremonies.

As the history of Brasil was being told by performers from the host country at the Olympics Opening Ceremonies, Gisele came onto the massive catwalk in a stunning gown and walked the runway one final time as she stood in as “The Girl from Ipamena.” It was an incredible moment for the Brazilian supermodel on so many levels:
