Though there are many people that might think they are a good shot, they couldn’t hold a candle to the athletes that will be competing at Rio 2016 in the Olympics shooting competitions. These athletes are supremely gifted in their sport and shouldn’t be taken lightly for how good they are at what they do. Fans will get their first taste of just how good these athletes are right away as the Olympics shooting action starts off on Saturday, August 6.

Olympics shooting will actually be one of the first events to get underway on Day 1 in Rio. The Women’s 10m Air Rifle competition qualifications will start off the action at 7:30 a.m. ET as the best try to separate themselves and make it to the final. Said finals will then take place at 9:30 a.m. ET with the three medalists being crowned.

After that, some men’s competitors in Olympics shooting will take the stage as the Men’s 10m Air Pistol qualifications will get underway at Noon ET. The finals for the competition will take place soon after with the medalists being crowned at 2:30 p.m. ET.
