It obviously takes a great deal of skill in any sport to be able to make it to the 2016 Rio Olympics. However, it’s hard to not look at an event like Olympics women’s fencing and not be awed by the grace and skill that they show. It’s such a unique sport that requires such precision that it’s always impressive to watch. Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long at all to watch it as the Olympics women’s fencing epee individual competition gets underway on Day 1, Saturday, August 6.

The Olympics women’s fencing epee individual will get underway early in the day with the start of the Round of 64 in the competition getting underway at 8 a.m. ET. From there, the entire tournament will progress.

Once the Round of 64 has been completed, it’ll be the Round of 32 starting at 9:15 a.m. ET and playing out with the matchups. The Table of 16 then begins at 11:30 a.m. ET and the bouts will continue from there.

A bid day in Olympics women’s fencing will then see the quarterfinals start at 12:45 p.m. ET and the semifinals at 3:00 p.m. ET. That all sets the stage for the bronze medal bout in Olympics women’s fencing epee individual at 4:15 p.m. ET and then the gold medal bout at 4:45 p.m. ET.
