Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan have the best friendship
Normally when Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combine for something post worthy here on Friendly Bounce it is because they are picking on each other during and interview or combining for an incredible alley oop during a game.

Today is a bit different. Today Kyle Lowry wished DeMar DeRozan a happy birthday on Instagram and while doing so tried to put into words just how important the duo’s friendship is to him. It was wonderful.

There are a ton of great NBA frienships like the Banana Boat crew, Manu Ginobili and everyone and Boris Diaw and coffee but honestly DeRozan and Lowry may be my favorite in the entire league. The two have the same type of youthful exuberance that plays off each other perfectly but every interaction seems like they are more than friends, which may be because they are. As Lowry said the two act like brothers who have always known each other and it is just wonderful.

It is even cooler that the two get to experience Rio together during Lowry’s first Team USA experience. I can only imagine what DeRozan’s birthday celebration will be like during the Olympics but one thing seems certain. Kyle Lowry loves his teammate and we all are better for the relationship.
