1. Warriors vs Cavaliers – December 25

When it comes to the best game on the NBA schedule this year, any answer that isn’t the Golden State Warriors taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers is wrong. The two teams engaged in a battle in the NBA Finals for the second straight season and now they are bound to play on Christmas Day for the second year in a row. This time the game takes place in Cleveland.

With the Warriors collapsing in the NBA Finals, the Cavaliers have earned the right to host the battle in their place this year. With these teams playing 13 games on the biggest stage over the last two years, there’s going to be a battle like none other to win the game. The Warriors beat them at home last year and there were a lot of doubts about Cleveland at the time. It was a launching point for their season.

This year, the Warriors are bringing Kevin Durant with them and that makes this battle of superstar teams even better. It should also give yet another potential early preview of the NBA Finals and the lineups that each head coach uses.

Every year has a marquee game on the schedule and the NBA usually puts the biggest one on Christmas. Yet again, the best game is the NBA Finals rematch.
