4) Keep the WWE Heavyweight Championship on Dean Ambrose

There is a large contingent of fans out there, mainly from the internet, that have waited a very long time for Dolph Ziggler to get what they believe deserve is coming to him, that being a run with the WWE title. Sure, he had two stints with the big gold belt as the World Heavyweight Champion on Smackdown, but let’s be honest with each other — that title didn’t mean nearly as much at the time as they would lead you to believe.

So, with Ziggler surprisingly being inserted into the SummerSlam card as the challenger to Dean Ambrose and his WWE Heavyweight Championship, that contingent of Ziggler loyalists believe that the time will finally come for the “Showoff” to have his moment.

Yeah, well, as nice of a sight as that would be to see after all of the work that he’s put in over the years, it’s just not the right move at SummerSlam on Sunday night.

Right now, you want to keep the “Lunatic Fringe” as the champion. Smackdown is re-branding itself with a fresh roster and live airings at the moment, so the last thing that you’d want to do is show people that we’re right back to playing hot potato with a major title. Having someone stable at the top of the card is what the brand needs right now.

Plain and simple, Ziggler is in this match with Ambrose on Sunday night –which will likely go on somewhere in the middle of the show– to help put on one hell of a bout with the biggest title in the promotion on the line. And there is nothing wrong with that, because the man has earned a damn good living doing just that.

He may very well have his WWE title moment still some time down the line, but Sunday night won’t be it. Get comfortable with Ambrose holding that title.
