DeVante Parker-Miami Dolphins

DeVante Parker was Miami’s first round pick in 2015 out of Louisville, but he struggled with injury and had an underwhelming rookie season last year. He’ll look to turn that around this season if he can get back to 100% healthy.

It took him some time to adjust to the NFL after missing all of last year’s Preseason, and he missed the first game this year with a hamstring injury.  He returned to practice last Thursday, though, and is back to work with Ryan Tannehill.

Parker is expected to start as the “X” Receiver in new coach Adam Gase’s offense.  That’s the same position that made DeMaryius Thomas a star for Denver and gave Alshon Jeffery his own breakout season. If Parker is able to get reps, he has huge upside and could end up being one of the steals of the draft.

At this point, he’s being drafted in the eighth round as the 33rd WR off the board. I think he’ll be a breakout WR this season and finish in the top 20 making him a starter in almost all formats.  Parker is getting a lot of buzz this preseason, but I’m buying into the hype and think he can be a nice WR3 for you on draft day with the potential to be a WR2 as he grows into his role in a much-improved offense.
