Mike Gillislee-Buffalo Bills

The Bills have some running back depth issues which could open the door for Gillislee to make a fantasy impact especially early in the season.  Coach Rex Ryan relies heavily on his ground game and likes so spread carries around, so look for Gillislee to get some opportunities.

He’s currently the second RB on the depth chart behind LeSean McCoy.  McCoy is clearly the #1 option and a workhorse back, but last year Ryan like to mix in Karlos Williams behind him.  Williams won’t be an option early in this season, though, as he serves a four-game suspension and reportedly needs a lot of work to get into shape. The Bills did bring in Reggie Bush and rookie Jonathan Williams, but neither of them appear ready to challenge for the job.

Gillislee looked good in the preseason opener with 25 yards on his three carries including an impressive 20-yard run.  He’ll likely be just one McCoy injury away from being a fantasy starter, and with Karlos Williams role in question, Gilllislee could have a chance to be a breakout RB you can grab at the very end of your fantasy football drafts.
