Wisconsin

It should come as a surprise to no one that Wisconsin’s Mount Rushmore features three Green Bay Packers.

Brett Favre is one of the best quarterbacks of all time. He has set many records. His team records likely won’t get broken for a while if Aaron Rodgers doesn’t break them. Favre led the team to a Super Bowl win in Super Bowl 31. He won three consecutive Most Valuable Player awards from 1995 to 1997. Favre led the NFL in touchdown passes four times and threw 442 career touchdown passes.

Reggie White, known as the Minister of Defense, played an instrumental role in the Packers’ Super Bowl 31 victory. He won two Defensive Player of the Year awards, including one with the Packers in 1998. In six seasons with the Packers, White had 68.5 sacks. White forced 13 fumbles while with the Packers as well. He is a member of the Packers’ Hall of Fame.

Robin Yount is perhaps most famous for making the state of Wisconsin care about baseball. The Brewers needed a star to draw attention and Yount did that. He spent his entire career with the Brewers. Yount finished his career with 3,142 hits and 251 home runs. He won the American League MVP award twice. Yount is among the career leaders in many categories for the Brewers.

Vince Lombardi is the most iconic football figure in Packers’ history. His Packers won the first two Super Bowls. Lombardi won six NFL titles during his coaching career with the Packers. The Super Bowl Trophy bears his name.
