Kevin Garnett made everything possible for Minnesota Timberwolves fans. Garnett was the fifth overall pick of the 1995 NBA Draft. Few teenagers dominate in their first year, but Garnett did. He made the team relevant, and is the all-time leading scorer for the Timberwolves. After a Championship-winning stint in Boston and two seasons with the Nets, Garnett returned to the Timberwolves in 2015 to help develop their young forwards.

Kirby Puckett is one of the most popular players in baseball history. Puckett was a premier outfielder in his prime, receiving 10 All-Star game berths. He helped the Minnesota Twins win two World Series. His career was cut short at the age of 36 due to glaucoma, but Puckett’s influence on the Twins is unrivaled.

Harmon Killebrew was the Twins’ first great power hitter. With the Twins, Killebrew led the league in home runs five times. He had 573 home runs in his career and all but 98 of them came with the Minnesota Twins. 14 of them came with the Royals while 84 of them were hit with the Washington Senators.

Alan Page led the Purple People Eaters defense of the Minnesota Vikings in the 1970’s. Page won the NFL MVP award in 1971 as a defensive tackle. He was named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year twice. Page is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He served as an associate justice for the Minnesota Supreme Court until 2015.
