Who is that guy? Meet Jason Garrett. He’s a character, although you kind of have to be in order to work for the Dallas Cowboys. Owner Jerry Jones has set a precedent unlike any other for the Cowboys, who used to be “America’s Team.” You can never have too many larger than life personalities in Dallas.
Garrett was privileged growing up, attending a prep school in Ohio before going to Princeton to play football. He transferred from Princeton to join rival Columbia University after his dad became the head coach. Garrett eventually went on to become a third string quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, and then fate led him back to the team as head coach in 2010.
Dallas is a great city. Jason Garrett is an interesting person. What more could you want from a drinking buddy? Tales of Jerry Jones, you say? Well, who better to tell you about the man, the myth, the legend of Jerry Jones than his head coach?
