Ranking 32 NFL coaches you’d want to have a beer with
Mike McCoy is a California native, which made him the perfect candidate to head up the San Diego Chargers when they had a vacancy after the 2012 season. Several teams made a run at McCoy, including the Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles, but it was the Chargers who won the sweepstakes. Or so they thought.
McCoy hasn’t done much in his first three years, going 9-7 twice and 4-12 last season. With a 22-26 overall record, McCoy isn’t turning any heads. He is, however, still a very viable option for a drinking mate. Located in beautiful San Diego, where the weather is always a balmy 70 degrees, McCoy has some prime real estate to drink on.
I’d love to discuss Tim Tebow and how McCoy was able to set up the Denver Broncos offense with the former collegiate star and professional disaster. They even won a playoff game! Against the Steelers! McCoy must have some kind of magic, and I’d love to be privy to it.
