17. Kyle Field

Kyle Field has been home to Texas A&M Aggies football since as early as 1904, though it wasn’t fully completed until 1927. Not only is Kyle Field one of the biggest stadiums in the SEC, but with a capacity of 102,733, it is one of the biggest football stadiums in the U.S.

Kyle Field has housed top-tier college football for well over 100 years, so if any stadium on the SEC gridiron is haunted, there is a good chance it is Texas A&M’s.

Kyle Field and Gig ‘Em Nation football is also the birthplace of the 12th Man. The term symbolizes Texas A&M’s undying (get it?) loyalty to its football team, meaning the university will show its utmost support to the program at all times, and maybe even in all lifetimes.

In 1922, E. King Gill became the first ever 12th man, literally, and who’s to say he hasn’t returned from the grave a few times to cheer on his team from the sidelines?

Plus, the Aggies’ Midnight Yell Practices on Thursday nights before crucial home games have a religious aura to them, which helps add to the mystique surrounding Kyle field. This is prime real estate for ghosts.
