15. Mercedes-Benz Superdome

LSU’s Tiger Stadium has already made an appearance on this list, but it isn’t the only Louisiana stadium that seems like it could be haunted. The other is the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, home of the NFC South’s New Orleans Saints.

Football is easily the most popular sport in Louisiana, and the entire state turns its attention to the Tigers and Saints on fall weekends. Though the Saints had a rough first 30 years, the football franchise has seen great success under head coach Sean Payton and quarterback Drew Brees.

New Orleans, one of America’s great party destinations, has long been a popular Super Bowl host, but the Saints didn’t win their first title until 2009, when they knocked off Peyton Manning’s Indianapolis Colts.

The Superdome also housed many displaced Louisianans in the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The stadium is old and it has seen too much for there not to be a few spirits hanging around the place.
