8. Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has hosted multiple Summer Olympic Games (1932 and 1984), as well as countless Pac-12 and NFL contests since 1923.

Its primary occupant has been the USC Trojans, who have played there since 1923. The other notable occupants are the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams, who played there from 1946 to 1979 and will play there again for the next three years while the teams awaits the construction of Stan Kroenke’s crown jewel.

From the USC rivalry games (UCLA, Stanford, Notre Dame) to their many Heisman Trophy winners (O.J. Simpson, Marcus Allen, Carson Palmer, etc.), it’s easy to see why the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum is such an important part of the fabric of West Coast football.

Could there be ghosts at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum? The stadium’s winning history, across several different sports, means more than just late Trojan fans may choose to Fight On in the afterlife. With the Rams returning to the City of Angels, late fans of the old Los Angeles Rams will be particularly excited to stop by this fall.
