31 sports stadiums most likely to be haunted

26. Ralph Wilson Stadium
The Buffalo Bills have been Western New York’s professional football team since the creation of the AFL back in the early 1960s. They have a proud history as a near-championship caliber franchise and have played at the same outdoor stadium in Orchard Park since 1973.
That said, the Pegula Family wanted to rid itself of the moniker Ralph Wilson Stadium, and chose to sell the naming rights to New Era. The stadium is now known as New Era Field. But while selling the naming rights was probably a smart financial move for a small market franchise, we must not forget that Wilson was the original owner of the Bills.
He is no longer with us, but must occasionally venture back to his old stomping grounds in Orchard Park. Changing the name of the stadium merely years after his death is not good karma for the Bills. Couldn’t the stadium have been rebranded as New Era Field at Ralph Wilson Stadium? Not only is Wilson likely to come back, he’s probably also a little angry.
The Bills haven’t qualified for the AFC Playoffs since 1999, the longest active streak in football. Will the poltergeist of Ralph Wilson wreak even more havoc on the Bills now that their football cathedral is no longer named after him? Buffalo’s snake-bitten 2016 NFL preseason suggests he’s already doing his worst.
