Busts

It hasn’t been an easy season for Liverpool so far. Especially for goalkeeper Simon Mignolet. The Belgian international was part of his side’s 4-3 win over Arsenal and their 2-0 shock loss to Burnley last week.

Mignolet has his good and his bad days, and will need to put in a solid performance against Tottenham this weekend.

The reason you should be wary of Mignolet is that he is facing a decent Spurs team looking to build off their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend. If Mignolet and his back line suffered against Burnley’s Andre Gray and Sam Vokes, what happens when Harry Kane, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela are charging down at them?

Burnley’s Tom Heaton was on right side of that 2-0 win over Liverpool. Heaton has been impressive so far this season, earning 14 points in two matches, and a huge 10 points last weekend.

This weekend, however, Heaton will be up against another big club in Chelsea. The Clarets were able to grab three points against Liverpool, but Chelsea has been looking confident since Antonio Conte took charge.

I would recommend starting a goalie that has a more favorable matchup than Heaton does against Diego Costa and his Chelsea teammates.

Bargains

After a tough loss to Hull in week one, Leicester turned it around against Arsenal in a 0-0 draw at home. Now, you would expect a defending champion to start off hot, but Leicester seemed to be happy enough with a draw against Arsenal.

In goal for that match for the Foxes was Kasper Schmeichel. A year ago, the Danish international had a stellar year, in which he was one of the top goalies in the Premier League.

Starting off the season with a two point performance against Hull, Schmeichel bounced back with a 10 points against Arsenal.

This weekend sees Leicester at home against Swansea, and if he can bounce back with another strong performance, Schmeichel could be your starting man. Not to forget that he only costs £5.

Southampton keeper Fraser Forster may not be having the best season early on, with two point performances against Watford and Manchester United, but this weekend sees Forster up against Sunderland, a team that has lost 2-1 in back-to-back matches.

The Saints look to be the favorite in that match, and Forster should be a nice pickup if you are strapped for cash. He also costs £5, and with a favorable opponent ahead of him, he should give you a decent amount of points.
