Biggest game of the year: Michigan vs. Ohio State

There are a lot of options to choose from, but with Harbaugh and Meyer going toe-to-toe now, the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry is as fierce as it’s ever been. With OSU dominating this game in recent years, you could be forgiven for feeling indifferent about this game. Even last year when Harbaugh was at the helm, they blew them out of the water. But this year’s edition of The Game feels like it could go either way. And if the stars align, this game might very well decide who will win the Big Ten East.

There will also be lots of built-in storylines, such as Mike Weber getting the chance to compete against his hometown team, and one that made a large push to sign him. He will have big shoes to fill as far as Ohio State running backs go, but he will no doubt be motivated to succeed the way Carlos Hyde and Ezekiel Elliott did.

Even if the standings are pretty much already determined by this game, it’ll still remain must-see TV. And it’s hard to imagine that being the case, since the two teams will likely remain competitive all throughout the year.

Whenever any one of Michigan, Michigan State, and Ohio State go head-to-head, it’ll be important, but none will be more important than Michigan vs. Ohio State with the way this rivalry has been rejuvenated.
