3. Green Bay Packers

The Packers have always been able to roll with Aaron Rodgers in the lineup, but things are a little different when he ends up on the shelf. Whether it has been because of a broken clavicle or concussions, Rodgers has been dinged throughout his career. At 32 years old, those instances are only likely to increase.

Currently, Green Bay is rolling the dice on the depth chart. Behind Rodgers is Brett Hundley, a former late-round pick out of UCLA who has never played a down of meaningful NFL football. Sanchez might have only 86 touchdowns against an ugly 84 interceptions, but it still means ample experience over Hundley.

The Packers are trying to bounce back from losing out on the NFC North crown last year. If Rodgers has to miss a few games, they have a much better chance of winning a couple contests with Sanchez than an inexperienced backup. Green Bay also runs an offense that doesn’t depend on much from its quarterback in terms of mobility. This despite having Rodgers who can work a pocket better than anyone.

Green Bay would be lucky to have Sanchez, who should never start but can certainly hold a clipboard and play in spot duty.
