Most overrated team

It’s not necessarily fair to classify a Pac-12 team as overrated. They play in a brutal conference with plenty of talented teams. That being said, there is always one team with high expectations that fails to live up to them. In 2015, it was the Arizona State Sun Devils.

This season, it could be the UCLA Bruins. While the Bruins are one of the favorites in the South, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a bit of a sophomore slump for quarterback Josh Rosen. The young quarterback is extremely talented, but he is having a bunch of expectations placed squarely on his shoulders.

In a results driven league, that could be too much for the young quarterback. At the same time, UCLA has had issues where they would win a big game and then fall the next week in a trap game. They disappear sometimes when the lights are on and have to prove that they can go on and win the big one in a more consistent manner.

If Rosen can do that, then the Bruins will shed the label of being called overrated. In fact, that probably isn’t even the right term for them as a team. They just have to go out and prove it this season on the field.
