Offensive Player of the Year

Christian McCaffrey is the favorite among many to win the Heisman Trophy this year. Therefore that makes him the easiest choice to win Offensive Player of the Year in the Pac-12. The man can do it all from the running back position and that allows the Cardinal to be one of the favorites to make the playoffs.

He’s a dynamic runner with tremendous vision, he has great hands receiving and he knows where the ball is going to be at all times. Add in his quick feet and he is one of the hardest to bring down in college football. He’s a human highlight reel and he’s the guy that everyone wants to watch in the conference this season.

He could have some competition from USC’s Juju Smith-Schuster, but McCaffrey should have this one easily if he plays up to expectations. He’s a generational talent with generational abilities. It’s not to cut down on the other tremendous players in the conference, but McCaffrey is just that good with the football when he gets it in his hands.

The real interesting thing to watch is going to be how teams try to game plan against him. His big year last year has put every team on notice, so they are going to try their best at containing him if possible.
