player. 48.
Here’s a question. Outside of Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans, who do the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have of note at wide receiver? It’s an important one to ask because Jackson is into his 30s now and can’t be expected to perform at top level much longer.

The last thing the team wants is for Evans to become a one-man band surrounded by low round picks and street free agents. He’s a beast but even men of his rare skill can be tamed by double and triple coverages. That’s why there’s no shame in grabbing another weapon for Jameis Winston.

One college that has become somewhat of a factory for quality wide receivers in recent years is LSU. The irony is not lost in that statement given the program is more the traditional run the ball, play defense style. Yet watching Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry rip up the league say they know how to find pass catchers too.

Malachi Dupree may be the most talented to come along since them. He’s got ideal 6-foot-3 size and averaged a healthy 16.2 yards per catch last year. That would indicate some deceptive deep speed as well. If the coaches can figure out their quarterback problem, he’ll show everybody what he can be.
. WR. LSU. Malachi Dupree . 14
