15. Indianapolis Colts

Christian McCaffrey . 15. player. 46.
The Indianapolis Colts are finally figuring out that the miracles Andrew Luck can manufacture have limits. He’s still human and can’t be expected to win them a Super Bowl. Not without help. They’ve done a good job getting him receivers and finally took the offensive line issues seriously.

Ryan Kelly should become a fixture for them at center and they’ve improved the depth as well. The last item on the agenda? A legitimate running back who can keep defenses honest on the ground. With all due respect an over the hill Frank Gore isn’t going to scare anybody. Nor is Robert Turbin or Jordan Todman.

There are no legitimate game breakers in that backfield. Christian McCaffrey would flip that script. An absolute dynamo with the ball in his hands. He’s got size and speed but what sets him apart is his vision. Few players in college football are better at seeing things before they happen and that’s why he had over 2,000 all-purpose yards in 2015.

He can run. He can catch. He can return. Maybe not the most powerful back but isn’t afraid to dole out some hard runs for extra yardage. In the hands of a craft coordinator like Rob Chudzinski, McCaffrey would be a scheme nightmare.
.
